P2 Fuji 32gig to me Looks like they are from the same factory as the Panasonic cards.

Should you want to purchase These Fuji P2 32gig cards just ask your local Fuji Professional Media Stockist, I believe they can be obtained but are in limited supply.

Ingest speed tests into My Intel Macpro 3ghz, 2gig Ram, OS 10.5.5, QT 7.5 FCP 6.0.4

Test A, via "drag n drop" Contents files (29gig- 1hour9mins- DVCpro50 SD) from desktop via my card reader to a raided drive set took 19mins.

Test B, via "Log n Transfer"into FCP 6.0.4 (29gig- 1hour9mins- DVCpro50 SD) via my single slot Amtron P2 card reader to a raided drive set took 17mins.

I could find no performance difference between this FUJI card and the Panasonic P2 cards except the price was less than the Panasonic cards.

Panasonic have included the FUJI Model cards on their P2 Format Station site.

Just a footnote on The P2 card Firmware of the three sizes currently available---

32GB cards are at version 1.01
16GB cards are at version 1.00
and 8 GB cards are at version 1.03
 

Each card capacity has a different firmware version so they don't necessarily match or increase the firmware version number as card capacities increase.

I expect the up coming 64gig P2 cards will have different Firmware also.
